As a Software Development Intern at MyStory, you'll get real-world experience working on challenging projects in a fast-moving startup. Depending on your interests and strengths, you'll join one of our focused development teams: PMF Team: Build, refine, and iterate rapidly on our core Next.js product, directly contributing to user experience. Monorepo Team: Learn and implement strategies using Turborepo to guide the transition to a unified monorepo codebase. Database Team: Dive into advanced data structures and Graph databases, powering the next generation of features. At MyStory, we heavily utilize Cursor and other advanced AI tools to supercharge productivity. All interns receive dedicated training to become proficient experts in leveraging AI to code faster, learn smarter, and innovate continuously. What You'll Do

• Write, test, and deploy code that impacts real users.
• Independently solve technical challenges and learn new technologies quickly.
• Collaborate closely with founders and teammates, receiving guidance and mentorship.
• Develop your skills rapidly across React, TypeScript, Turborepo, Next.js, database technologies, and cutting-edge AI development tools.
• See firsthand how your contributions affect product growth and user experience.

We're Looking For

• Solid fundamentals in JavaScript and React (familiarity with TypeScript is a bonus).
• Curiosity, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn independently and ask insightful questions.
• A genuine interest in becoming a stronger, more confident developer.
• Background in computer science, engineering, or related fields is helpful but not required as long as you know how to code.
